Satisfy Your Foot-Fetish With The Shoe Guide

Footwear is a fetish for many, a weakness for some and a fascination for most. It is not a surprise to see the different ranges and the increasing varieties of shoes on display today. The footwear outlets are coming up with new designs every day to satisfy the demands of the people. Whether it is shoes or casual sandals, everything has a fancy variant.

With all of us masquerading as Carrie Bradshaw in 'Sex and the City', we can only hope that there is more out there, and fast. Well, thankfully, brands like fitness first in saket come up with new and fascinating designs every fortnight just so that they can soothe our eyes, and our feet. After all, happy feet lead to happy stores.

There are, however, some basic things to keep in mind when buying shoes for oneself.

Purpose

It is important to distinguish the reason for the purchase of a particular pair. Is it an impulsive purchase or a work thing? A casual buy or a new style? Once you've distinctly categorized the reason, it is easier to select and choose the right thing. For example, when looking for work shoes for men, it is advisable to look for something black, dark brown or other sober colours.

Comfort

I agree that heels are not the most comfortable things in the worlds, but boy, are they pretty! At the same time, it is important to note that they don't bite your feet or stagger you. A bad walk is a terrible put-off when at a gathering or a party. Plus, people with uncomfortable shoes don't make for the most pleasant conversations either.

Selection

As far as the final selection is concerned, it is the most crucial stage of the process. You have to keep into account all factors - comfort, style, design and affordability. Taking a day or two to think is not a bad idea if you're not too sure. It is also a good idea to try in three four stores before you zero-in on your final choice.

Shopping online

It is not a bad idea to buy shoes online. They are plenty of ranges, it's easy, and at the same time, there is no hassle of driving out to stores and trying out things. But shopping online for footwear has its own issues. The size, for one. You must make sure that the British and American standard of sizing is taken into account when selecting your size. A lot of times the material that is expected of the shoes is different from what actually comes, so it is a good idea to perhaps not shop for leather or suede shoes online. Before buying anything, make sure there is a full refund or exchange policy in case you're not satisfied with your purchase.
