Cool Graphic T-Shirt And How To Style Them

Graphic T-shirts are cool, you can wear them casually or style them with a nice pair of leather jeans or even skirts and blazer, they always look good no matter what. T-Shirts are comfy and the cool prints on them make them wearable for almost any day. Styling your graphic t-shirt right can level up your style and give you a whole cool-girl vibe.

Faux Crop It With Mom Jeans

Why faux crop because you can simply tie it up or put the hem of your t-shirt under your bra and you get the crop look you want. Pair it up with mom jeans and a cute pair of sneakers and you are all set to go! Your graphic t-shirt will look cool in this style too. Or you can also get yourself a cropped cool graphic tee if you want to give an actual cropped look.

With Your Power Suit

Like said before, a cool graphic t-shirt looks good with almost everything. And when you pair it up with your combo blazer and pants it looks fun and smart at the same time. Stores like Superdry have some really good collections of such t-shirts and you can look for Superdry showroom in Delhi or any other city for their collection.

Biker Shorts Gang

Other than wearing your biker shorts with a slim fit gym wear top, you can also pair your biker with a cool graphic t-shirt. This look is not just comfy but looks trendy without even trying too much. Just wear a cool pair of sneakers and you are good to go with this look. This look is what screams a whole cool-girl vibe look.

Denim Doesn't Go Wrong

How else to pair your graphic tee, Denim! Yes, wear it with your denim jacket or distressed denim jeans or shorts, these t-shirts look great with everything. Denim look is also comfortable and stylish at the same time.

Wear It With Leather

We, of course, don't agree with getting real leather, faux leather is a much better option. Either pair it with a faux leather skirt, shorts, pants or even jacket, your graphic tee will look great with all of them. This style would fit so much better for a girls night out! Also pairing a cool t-shirt and leather anything goes well and will save your time from the dilemma of “WTH am I gonna wear tonight?”

Best Games That You Can Play on an Apple Watch

Although not as powerful as an iPad or an iPhone, an Apple watch is quite a versatile device and has a lot packed into a small package. Based on the model or type of Apple watch that you opt for and how you would like to use it, there are a variety of activities that you can perform from tracking your workouts to listening to music, monitoring your heartbeat, viewing your photos, and a lot more. Surprisingly, you can even play games on this cool gadget. The watch’s App Store has many games, designed specifically for a tiny wrist sized screen.

Simply search for ‘games’ in the watch’s App Store which is stylized as ‘A’, similar to iPhone. Here are some of the best games that you can enjoy on the Apple device wrapped around your wrist.

Pocket Bandit

Since a watch game doesn’t have the bandwidth to feature stellar graphics or fast action, Pocket Bandit focuses on something that distinguishes the watch from other devices, which is the Digital Crown. The game allows you to play the role of a safe cracker wherein you need to spin the crown to unlock safe combinations before the timer runs out. The haptic feedback will let you know when you are getting close.

Runeblade

If you are fond of traditional games, this free game will be the best thing you will find. This is basically a role-playing game that involves hacking and slashing your way through a tiny adventure, managing inventory, levelling up, and improving your weapons and armor along the way. There’s not a lot of depth though.

Lifeline

This one is a wrist-sized version of the text-based adventure game. The twist involved here is that it happens in real-time. It includes chatting with someone who has crash-landed on an alien planet. Your responsibility is to ensure the adventurer’s safety. You will keep getting notifications throughout the day whenever the adventurer requires your help and when you send him for a task, he’ll check back on you after an hour to inform you how it went.

Elevate

This is an award-winning educational game that effectively works out your brain. It features more than three dozen game styles, focussing on math, memory, reading comprehension, and a lot more. Basically, it’s like taking a daily cross between SAT test, trivia challenge, and brain teasers. It’s a fun game to sharpen your cognitive skills.

Pong

This one is a simple and free game that lets you play against your watch to keep the ball in play with the help of nothing but the digital crown for moving the paddle. It’s hard to believe that a sophisticated device, with multiple advanced features, can still be used to play something as simple as Pong.

If you already possess an Apple watch, well and good, if not then search ‘Apple Imagine store near me’ and you will be able to check out all the amazing Apple devices out there. Besides the games being discussed, other features such as calorie tracker, steps tracker, heart rate monitor, notifications, etc. will make your life a lot easier.

Books & Bookstores: Your Guide To The Best Bookstores In The Capital

We're living in a time where the world has moved on to kindles and iPads. However, there are still a few old-school folks out there who would give anything just to feel the pages of the stories we often immerse ourselves in - the sheer joy of holding a book that they can sniff, flip through and even fold at the edges!

Having said that, the right way of buying a good book for all of these old-school folks is by simply heading straight to the bookstore after gallantly pushing away the temptation of buying them at discounted prices on the internet!

 Midland Book Shop

It goes without saying that Midland is a cosy little bookstore in Aurobindo and has always, always been a childhood favourite. Having one of the best science fiction selections, they also have almost all books by Indian authors with an impeccable taste in comic books and graphic novel collections. Even though it is not a three-storey building filled with books, it is quite the bookshop you don't want to miss out on. What's best is, if you want a book but they don't have it, they are more than willing to order it just for you!

People Tree Bookstore

Small and intimate, this little bookshop is situated in the People Tree clothing store. While they do not have a wide variety of selection, if you dig around just enough, you'll probably find some of the best books of all time and it would all be worth it.

 Bahrisons

Tucked away in Khan Market ever since 1953, Bahrisons is most certainly one of the most iconic bookstores in Delhi. Not only do they have every Man Booker Prize nominee, but also some of the best selection of coffee table books! If you've been here before, you probably already know that the magazine section in the back is always packed.

 Crossword @ Select CityWalk

No matter where it is, Crossword never disappoints bibliophiles. In fact, this one is definitely one of the best Crosswords in Delhi, an impeccable point of cultural and social interaction where authors and poets hold court, children are regaled and people gravitate not only to be entertained, but also to be informed. If you ever enter a Crossword bookstore, you're definitely not coming out with just a book.

So, if you're one of those people who just can't get enough of reading, listed above are some of the most beloved bookstores in the capital. However, the question remains - Is your favourite here too?

Don’t Let Your Skin Get Dull Even While You Quarantine!

Social distancing is hard but you know what definitely doesn’t help? Sitting around watching the news or scrolling social media all day long! With negativity and uncertainty brimming, seeing too much of it can really get you down. Self-isolation doesn’t have to be sad or depressing but must be utilized as a time to do things you have been putting off including self-care and rejuvenation.

Sometimes the best way to heal yourself is taking a step back and working on yourself, even when you are in a middle of a crisis.

Here are a few tips to reset and get that glow you have always desired:

Induce exercise in your daily routine

“ I don’t have time’ is the most common excuse we gave for not working out till now. For all the busy bees, now is the time. Begin your day with an energizing workout. It doesn’t have to be long or strenuous but just enough to get your blood flowing. Now that the lockdown is slowly opening up, you can get your puma sportsshoes and go for a morning jog. The best way to fix your routine in such case is to become a morning person.

Hydrate continuously

Most of the people struggle to drink enough water. This might become even worse when at home. If you want to help your skin, your mood, and your digestion, water is the key. Get yourself a big bottle of water and keep reminding yourself to drink. Set goals for yourself. Do not be surprised when you feel amazing, hydrated, and glowed up.

Treat Yourself with A Face Mask:

No one had the time to pamper their skin on a regular basis when life was normal. There was always something that felt more important. After the day’s work, the best we treated ourselves was with a good night’s sleep. Now that our plates are a little less full, let’s sit back, close our eyes and apply some face masks on our skin.

Start A Skin-Care Routine:

If you haven’t yet, now is the time to start your CTM routine. Cleansing, toning, and moisturizing your skin twice a day can do more wonders to your skin than you can imagine. Start using all those creams and serum sitting on your counter.  Exfoliate once a week to get rid of dead skin cells, eat right and glow up.

This self-isolation, quarantine or social distancing whatever you may call it should feel like a blessing in disguise – if you choose to take it that way.  Show yourself some love and step out all glowed up once all of this is over or a vaccine for COVID-19 is developed.

Super Easy Snacks to Try at Home During Lockdown

Are you craving for those lip-smacking snacks that you would have every time you were out with your friends or family? Well, this lockdown period, which has been for two months now, has put a halt on all our outdoor activities, be it hangouts with friends or family dinners at our favourite restaurants. Seeing the current situation, things are not going to change for another few months, and we all will be spending a few more days locked in our homes. But that does not mean you have to miss those yummy delicacies that you used to savour before. You just need to put on your chef hat and prepare them at home. Here are some easy to cook snacks (that can be made with ingredients already there in your kitchen) that you can prepare during this lockdown period to satiate your cravings:

Bread Poha: This healthy and tasty meal can be prepared within minutes and that too with simple ingredients available in your kitchen. All you need is some bread slices, veggies of your choice, oil and spices. Start with chopping the bread slices into cubes. Put oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin, saute them for sometime and then add the onions, finely chopped chillies, ginger, tomatoes and all veggies of your choice. Add spices to this mixture, cook it for a few minutes and then add bread cubes to the mixture. Cook for about 5 minutes on low medium flame until the bread becomes crispy on the edges. Garnish it with coriander and yummy bread upma is ready to eat.

French Fries: We all love fries, they are crazy delicious! If you miss relishing the best burgers and fries in Saket that you would have with your friends at least once every month, worry not as you can easily prepare them at home. Take 4-5 potatoes, peel them and the cut into 1/4-inch slices. Put them in a large bowl, soak in water for about 20 minutes and then drain. Then put oil in a pot, fry potato slices for 5-6 minutes until they are golden and crisp and then drain them on a cooling rack. Serve them while they are warm and do not forget to sprinkle salt and dip sauces of your choice.

Aloo Tikki Burgers: Delicious and lip-smacking- these two words perfectly describe aloo tikki burgers. The best thing about preparing them at home is that you can add your own twist by choosing ingredients of your choice. If you've already prepared tikkis before, these burgers can be prepared in just a few minutes. If not, then prepare tikkis first by boiling and binding veggies of your choice, flatten them and shallow fry until golden brown. Then slice each bun into two parts, spread mayo dressing and ketchup, place onions, tomatoes, cheese slice (if you like), tikki and place the other slice bun. Appetizing aloo tikki burgers are ready to dive in.
